Hi Michelle! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
December is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort…and in fact it is my FAVORITE time of year to visit! I love looking at all of the holiday decorations throughout the Theme Parks and Resort hotels. In addition to a beautiful environment there are also a lot of wonderful holiday happenings. My personal favorite is
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! We also love the Candlelight Processional and
Minnie’s Seasonal Dining at Hollywood and Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
I love that you are planning ahead for your
Dining Reservations. Dining Reservations are highly recommended and can be made starting 180 days in advance of your arrival date. Typically if you are not on one of the Disney Dining Plans your credit card would be charged for this Dining experience in advance. However, since you are on the
Disney Dining Plan when making your reservations a credit card will only need to be placed on file to guarantee your reservation. Your credit card will only be charged in the event that you do not show up for your reservation. When making your Dining Reservation online through your My Disney Experience, the computer system should recognize your reservation number and therefore not charge your credit card.
I hope that I have helped to answer your question! Please come back and see us real soon. We love helping guests just like you plan Unforgettable vacations!
