Hi, Starting in October I'll be staying in Florida for 6 months. Would that make me a Florida resident for that period? Because, if possible, I'd buy an annual pass for Florida residents. Thank you

    Hi Sylvie,

Discounted Walt Disney World annual passes are a great benefit of being a resident of Florida for all or even part of the year. Because so many folks live here only during the winter, Walt Disney World does make its resident annual passes available to part-time residents.

Here's the link to the validation requirements for purchasing a Florida Resident Annual Pass. Basically, you need a photo ID and a document that shows you are living in the state, such as a utility bill or a bank record.

Besides admission to the parks, a Florida resident annual pass gives you access to a variety of discounts and special offers. My family loves the flexibility of being able to visit the parks often and the benefits the pass affords.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Sylvie. Please let us know if we can help in any other way as your time in Florida nears. Enjoy!
