Hi, We are starting to look into planning our trip in Sept 2010, I have no idea where to start, I am overwhelmed! I have two girls 4 and 2 and will be traveling w/ my husband and my mom. Any suggestions where to start???? thanks :)

Hi, Lisa!  All of the moms and dads on the Moms Panel have certainly been in your shoes, and I think I speak for us all when I say, "Please don't worry and get overwhelmed...enjoy the planning process, too!"  You've come to the right place!

Take the dates you're thinking about in September and start by looking at all the options and what WDW has to offer for your vacation.  Then, use the Vacation Booking Guide to get an idea of what your vacation may cost before trying to find offers and deals.  Make sure you order the DVD.  Then, take a look at all the offers which can really save you some money.  You can also contact a Disney vacation travel agent in your area, on the web or at your local AAA office.  In addition, one of our panel members is an author, Doug.  He wrote the book, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Walt Disney World.

In addition, peek at the Featured Question on the Mom's Panel to see how many of us weighed in on a family's first trip to WDW.  There's a wealth of information right there!  After you've made some key decisions, come back and ask us some pointed questions about your vacation.  We're here to help guide and provide you with information based on hundreds (and quite possibly thousands) of collective family vacations to WDW.  Have an absolutely wonderful time planning your magical vacation!
