I am starting to look at dining reservations. What are the best restaurants for 12 year old girls?

    Hi Ashley!

I love this question! I have someone in my home whom I would call an expert in this area so I sought her advice.

Her first answer was Starbucks. Oh my goodness. My child. Though I will say - my entire family has enjoyed a refreshing Starbucks beverage on several occasions throughout the various locations at Walt Disney World Resort.

My daughter is all about the experience. The food is important as well but she loves being entertained during her meal. Below you will find her list of recommendations for table service dining reservations perfect for a 12 year old girl:

    Magic Kingdom Park
Be Our Guest Restaurant is truly an enchanting experience. Dinner includes a prix fixe, three-course menu featuring French-inspired dishes. The meal is amazing and the ambiance is truly magical.

    Epcot
Coral Reef Restaurant features panoramic windows with amazing views of the underwater world of The Seas with Nemo and Friends. It's fin-tastic!
Teppan Edo is another great option! Teppan chefs prepare delectable meals at your table! They are so talented. The experience is always fun and the food is delicious!

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom is her pick for your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. She loves feasting on Caribbean Coconut Fried Shrimp while sitting amongst the foliage and animals found in the tropical rainforest.

    Disney Springs
The BOATHOUSE: Great Food, Waterfront Dining, Dream Boats is a fun restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere! The food is great and the S'mores Baked Alaska (Serves Four) is a must have! Of course, she recommends adding a 20-minute guided tour of the lake in one of the super rad amphicars!

    Disney's Hollywood Studios
The Hollywood Brown Derby differs from her other suggestions because there isn't "entertainment" per se. However, it's a great restaurant with incredible service and wonderful food. For tweens, this is a great place to dine in the glamour of Hollywood. Plus, the Grapefruit Cake is so yummy!

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel! If you need any other information, please let me know. My "expert" wants to help you plan a magical vacation for the special 12 year old in your life.
