    Starting to look ahead to my family's 2018 trip. Would love to stay at the WL again, but wondering whether the Cub's Den or similar will likely be open? Thanks!!

    Hi Kelly! It is never too early to start planning for a Disney vacation. And the Wilderness Lodge is many guests favorite place to reserve.

    This resort has been going through major refurbishments over the last year. They are in the process of building new DVC cabins along the lake and have done a great deal with the existing DVC buildings. The Cubs Den is under refurbishment through 2017. This is somewhat vague information given to us and I would like to assume all will be finished by the end of this next year. The new pool is expected to open this summer. Keep checking back for more information and updates on this great resort.
