I will be starting a C25k program. My goal is to run my first 5k at WDW. I am thinking the Mickey Jingle in Nov, since we will be staying at AKL at that time. How would I get to the race from AKL without a car, since it is not a race resort?

    Hi Renee!

Well, I love the Couch to 5K program!  It's such a great way to get started running.  And, of course, a 5K at Disney World is the BEST place to have your first race:)

If you don't have a vehicle, your best best is to arrange cab service for the race weekend events.  You will need a cab to take you to the ESPN Wide World of Sports for your packet pick-up, and then one again on race morning.  You can check with the front desk at Animal Kingdom Lodge for cab service availability.  I like to schedule mine in advance.  The cost is minimal since you won't be going far!

Good luck with your training, and please let me know if you have any other questions as you get ready for your race!
