We started planning a quick vacation for September. We were think of Beach club resort. My husband wants something relaxing. I want convenience, and my 4 year old wants fun. Is this the right place or do I keep looking?

Kim, it sounds like you've made a great choice.  The Beach Club will meet all the needs you've listed.  I find the Beach Club to have a relaxing atmosphere whether you are at the resort itself or enjoying a nice walk around the Boardwalk - and don't forget to check out the boat rentals at the marina.

It is also a very convenient location as you can easily walk to the back entrance of Epcot.  You can also walk to Hollywood Studios but it's a little longer so I prefer to take the boat.  You will also have lots of dining choices with all the nearby resorts, the countries in Epcot and Boardwalk.  As far as fun...what could be more fun then Stormalong Bay - a mini water park right at your resort!

I think you will be very happy with this choice.  However, if you think you might be spending more time in the Magic Kingdom area, you may want to check out the Polynesian.  Very relaxing when using the hammocks on the beach, a great volcano pool and a quick monorail ride to Magic Kingdom and the Transportation and Ticket Center (which you can also walk to from the Polynesian).

Have a wonderful vacation Kim!  Make sure you check the dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party to see if a party falls during your vacation.  Diane
