I started making dining reservations but I am still not sure what part of the park we will be at on which days. Is it OK to reserve several different options, such as one diner at 5:00 and one at 7:00 at different parks? This gives us a little flexibily.

    Hi Joseph!

I definitely understand wanting as much flexibility as possible when choosing where to eat and which parks to visit on a given day. We travel with two small children and we never know what mood they'll be in on any given day.  Many Advanced Dining Reservations now require a credit card guarantee when you place your reservation.  If you do not cancel the reservation in the allotted amount of time, you will be charged a fee.  This is partially to prevent guests from holding multiple reservations at the same time, therefore making it fair for everyone.

We like to make several non-park reservations, like Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian Resort or Raglan Road at Downtown Disney.  This way our reservations aren't tying us to a specific park that day.  Also, if you add the Park Hopper Option to your tickets, you can always "hop" to the park where your dining reservations are.

Thank you so much for coming to ask us your question, Joseph!  Please come back and see us again real soon.

    Have a Disney day,
