Hi Melissa and welcome to planDisney!
Dining at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite things to do! There are so many wonderful restaurants at the theme parks,
Disney Resort hotels and
Disney Springs. It's hard to choose just which ones to visit each trip, but we certainly have our favorites.
'Ohana at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a family favorite for dinner and is my son's number one request each time we go.
When
making dining reservations, it's best to make them for the total number of Guests that could be dining as it's easier to remove people from a reservation than add them after. If you have additional Guests who show up for a dining reservation, it's up to the restaurant to see if they can be accommodated, but they are not guaranteed to be seated. I have been turned away a couple of times when I had some last minute visitors. Restaurants have to adhere to the maximum capacity due to fire safety rules, so that is something to consider when making your reservations. If you have already made some or all of your dining reservations, you can try to modify them using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App or by
viewing your plans on the Walt Disney World website.
Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
