Hi Doris!
You've made a great start in planning your vacation by coming to the Moms Panel!
The first thing I'd do is request a
Disney Vacation Planning DVD because I love getting mail from Disney. Start by looking at the dates you have available & how long you'd like to stay. Then decide on your budget for the trip.
From there, I'd see if there are any
special offers available. Disney has
Magic Your Way Packages including resort accommodations, dining & ticket options. Disney sometimes offers vacation packages with free dining or savings on hotel rooms. I like staying on property so that I can take advantage of perks only available to Disney Resort Hotel guests. If you need resort recommendations, let us know. You can book vacations online or through a travel agent.
Once you've made your reservations, you can think about how you'd like to spend your time & in which parks. There are so many choices of special experiences. We're happy to recommend some for you if you let us know the ages of your kids & if they're boys or girls.
Advanced Dining Reservations (ADR) can be made beginning 180 days from your trip & I'd recommend doing that. Popular places book up fast. If you need recommendations, let us know. Some people plan an ADR for every meal. I usually plan 1 a day & sometimes none. I have 2 boys & like having flexibility in my schedule.
I'm limited in space but hope this gives you some thoughts to start. Visit us as often as you'd like - we'll be here for you every step of the way. Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
