Where do I start in planning my family vacation?

Hi Holly! It's an honor to walk you through this marvelous journey!

The first step is to find the Disney Hotel that fits your dreams. Whether it's at a beautiful Value Hotel like Disney's Art of Animation Resort, a charming Moderate like Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter or the luxurious Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, the right room is waiting for you with many benefits. My favorite is the early access to FastPass+ planning: it's a huge time saver when you use it to grab them for coveted attractions!

When your reservation is secured, you'll choose tickets between the 1 Park Per Day, the Park Hopper or the Park Hopper Plus options, also determining the number of days you wish to spend at the Theme Parks. I'd suggest a total of six or seven days for an EPIC first trip!

While the first two steps are not so time sensitive, the next two are: making dining reservations 180 days ahead of your arrival and FastPass+ arrangements 60 days before your first Theme Park day. Considering those timelines, I'd suggest deciding on hotels and tickets at least 210 days before your trip so you have time to plan and get great dining reservations for experiences like Be Our Guest Restaurant, 'Ohana and Cinderella's Royal Table!

The whole Disney Parks Moms Panel will be anxious to help you enjoy every single one of those decisions, so don't hesitate to come back for all of them!

May the magic be with you,
