I want to start planning where to eat. Is there a list of restaurants and characters appearing there?

Hiya Susan - welcome to planDisney!

Thanks so much for stopping by with your first question for our team of panelists. We love helping Guests just like you plan magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations! You'll be visiting during the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration, and there's a lot of pixie dust flying around - you're going to have a great trip!

Dining is probably my favorite part of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Gone are the days of hot dogs and chicken nuggets being your only options (don't worry, they're still around!) - there is something for every palate and budget, and the offerings are always evolving! The over 300 dining locations at Walt Disney World are all on one list, and there are great filters that you can use to narrow down your search and learn more about specific dining options.

It sounds like your crew is excited to enjoy some of the amazing Character Dining experiences offered. On the main dining page, you'll simply want to click on the Dining Experience filter and select Character Dining. From there, you can explore the options and read more about the specific experiences each location offers. There are many other filters you can use to help narrow things down and identify great options for your crew!

I recently had two Character Dining breakfasts, one at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort, and the other at Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. At Topolino's Terrace, Mickey and his friends show off their creative and artistic sides, and at Tusker House they're decked out in some great safari gear!

While Character Dining is truly a one-of-a-kind experience, I suggest not limiting yourself to only these dining experiences. With so many delicious and unique options, like an out-of-this-world Ronto Wrap and Blue Milk in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios, or escargot from the France Pavilion at EPCOT's World Showcase, it's a great time to explore!

I hope this information helps you start planning your gastronomic Walt Disney World adventure! Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your upcoming vacation.
