Hello Daisy,
The sooner you start planning a Disney cruise the better. It gives you more time to pay off your cruise. I've booked Disney cruises up to 1 1/2 years ahead of time! You can reserve your Disney Cruise by calling (800)951-3532 and speaking with a reservation agent. They are excellent at helping with cruise planning.
Please visit
www.disneycruise.com first. You can check out all of the ships, their activities, and itineraries at your leisure, and it will give you an excellent idea of what you want to experience during your trip. If you have any questions, you can call Disney Cruise Line directly or come back and ask me on the Disney Moms Panel. I'd be happy to help you with anything that you might need. Nothing like personal attention:)
Now, here's how payments work. To reserve a sailing, guests have to pay a deposit to hold the reservation. It's typically 20% of the entire fare. The rest of the fare needs to be paid 90 days before your sailing date. You can make as many payments as you'd like, in any amount so you will be able to figure out a budget that works for you. Here's a tip...if you book online, Disney Cruise Line applies a $25 onboard credit to your account to spend however you wish.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel. Enjoy your planning Daisy....it's so much fun!
