I would like to start planning a day trip for 50 Girl Scouts and their parents in January. What is the best way to start this?

Hey howdy hey, Sherry! You’ve got a friend in me at planDisney, so let’s get started!

Talk about a magical way to bond as a group! Your Girl Scout troop is in for a real adventure next year when you visit the Happiest Place on Earth! I’m thrilled to report that the Disneyland Resort does offer special group rates for youth organizations just like yours. To qualify for this group rate, you’ll need at least 10 Guests between the ages of 3 and 22, which it sounds like you already have. With this special rate, you’ll receive one complimentary chaperone ticket for every 10 children in your troop.

I noticed that tickets aren’t available yet for 2023 visits, so I called a Group Ticket Sales Cast Member to check on this. She said that you can expect 2023 group tickets to be available for purchase by October or November at the latest. I recommend continuing to check this link as fall approaches. Or, you can always call Disney Imagination Campus at (714) 520-7053 to see if they have an update as well.

In the meantime, you can start planning and fundraising for your day trip by checking out the 2023 Imagination Campus Seasonal Calendar for pricing. It looks like January 21, 2023 will have Standard Pricing. You’ll be able to choose between a 1-Day, 1-Park Ticket, or a 1-Day, Park Hopper Ticket.

The ordering instructions state that ticket orders must be submitted and paid in full at least 60 days prior to your departure date to ensure they’re delivered on time. So, you should have plenty of time to submit your ticket order once tickets are available for purchase.

Last but not least, I recommend downloading the Disneyland app – it’s my favorite handy helper in the parks! I use it to navigate my day, from mobile ordering food and drinks to finding the nearest restroom!

Please stop back with any additional questions as your trip gets closer, Sherry… we’re all EARs!

    Happy planning,
    Kristin

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
