Hi, I start to plan to visit this coming September to celebrate for my daughter birthday at Disneyland. When start make to reservation Disneyland hotels ?

    Hey Shuichi!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate a birthday than at the Disneyland Resort. My family has had its fair share of birthday celebrations at the parks and it makes a birthday that much more Magical. I see you’re looking to stay at one of the amazing hotels at the Disneyland Resort. Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel has that California beachfront vibe and is really easy going. The Disneyland Hotel has that classic Disneyland Park feel and has many tributes and touches of Walt Disney throughout the grounds. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is my favorite out of the three and it offers craftsman style elegance and some of the best food on property. I like the Disneyland Hotel best for kids and would recommend that one to celebrate your daughter's birthday.

September may seem like it’s far away but you have the right idea with starting to think about it now. I wish I had more information as to when the hotels at the Disneyland resort will start accepting reservations, but we are still waiting on an announcement for when reservations will become available. Disney’s Grand Californian Resort & Spa is slated to open April 29. 2021, but there is still no word on when the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will open. Keep an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland.com for more information.

I recommend booking Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa when it becomes available to book for September and then switching to another hotel later if it wasn’t your first choice. With all of the uncertainty and guests looking to get back to the parks, I imagine hotel reservations, ticket sales, and theme park reservations to be quite popular.

Well Shuichi, feel free to come back and check in with us again as more information is released.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
