Where do I start if I want to plan a Disney trip

    Hiya, Michael! Welcome to planDisney!

We’re so happy that you came to us with your inquiry, and I hope that I can give you a good starting point for your upcoming adventures in planning!

It looks like you’re planning to be visiting this coming November, so now is a perfect time for you to plan your trip to Walt Disney World. I’m going to list below the steps I would take to plan a great vacation! (I think booking a Vacation Package is the smoothest way to get your vacation planned, so that’s what I will highlight below.)

-First, go to the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page
Here you’ll be able to see if there are any ways that you and your party could qualify to save money while booking. (Please note that if there are discounts that become available after you have booked for which you qualify, you can always call to add the discount to your vacation. You won’t miss out!)

-Next, visit the Discover Disney World Vacation Packages page
This page will give you some additional information on current happenings at the theme parks, hotel information, complimentary transportation information, dining information, and so much more!

-You can continue your planning by visiting the Orlando Area Hotels & Resorts page
My favorite hotels are as follows: Pop Century Resort for a Value Resort. Pop Century has access to the Disney Skyliner (which is my favorite complimentary transportation option for Hollywood Studios and EPCOT). Pop Century is also family-friendly and budget-friendly — consider a preferred room here. For a Moderate Resort, I love Port Orleans — French Quarter. I adore the water taxi access to Disney Springs from this hotel, and the pool is very fun! For a Deluxe Resort, my favorite is Disney’s Grand Floridian. With access to water taxis, the Disney Monorail, and a charming setting, this is a fabulous, luxurious choice for a hotel!

-Next, continue building your vacation package
Once you’ve selected a hotel to stay at, you can choose what tickets you’d like. You can also add Dining Plans (which are handy if you’d like to “pre-pay” for your meals while on vacation). If you’d like to visit the water parks, or add access to download your photos (Memory Maker) from your trip, this is all accessible for booking after you have selected a hotel.

There are many components to planning, but we are always here to help, Michael! Please feel free to contact us again — we are a great resource when you want some tips, tricks, or just plain old planning advice! You are also always welcome to call a Cast Member if you need more immediate assistance.

We hope you have a marvelous time planning, and that your vacation is beyond magical!

    See ya real soon,
    Allyn

Hello! I am Allyn, your personal planDisney companion! I’ve enjoyed most of my life in the heart of Wyoming but am currently living my fairy tale as a wife, mom, yoga instructor, and fine jewelry designer in central Florida! When I’m not galavanting around the Disney theme parks, you’ll probably find me reading a good book, outside playing with my family, or learning to do something new. I truly believe that dreams come true, and I look forward to sharing that magic with you!
