Can I start a payment plan for a 5 day cruise, and book the cruise at a later date?

Hello there, Friend! Welcome to planDisney!

One of the greatest things about a Disney cruise is that they can be booked far out, which helps a lot when it comes to payment plans and options. I usually like to book my Disney cruise at least a year in advance, so that by the time I have to pay for it in full, I’m feeling less overwhelmed. Plus, there are now so many amazing Special Offers that work with our intended sail dates. Add Disney Cruise Line’s payment plan over a period of time, and it makes reserving a Disney cruise so easy. I would be happy to explain the flexible payment option so that you can get that cruise reserved and that magical countdown going!

Disney Cruise Line offers a flexible payment option called “Pay at Your Own Pace”, where you can customize the right plan that works for you. In order to start the payment plan, you must book the cruise first, either on the Disney Cruise Line website or by calling Disney Cruise Line and letting them know that you would like to pay for the cruise at your own pace.

After booking your cruise, Disney Cruise Line will hold your reservation for up to three days, during which no deposit is required. You should confirm your deposit with as little as just 10% down. Following the deposit payment, you can follow the payment plan that you've customized.

To customize your payment plan on the Disney Cruise Line website, after selecting your desired date, click on “Rates, Room Details, and Planning Calculator” in blue, which you will find underneath the date you’ve selected. After clicking this and scrolling down, you’ll see “Flexible Planning” where you can choose and customize the payment plan that works for you.

I have one last tip, and that’s to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App after you book your cruise. After making your reservation, you can input it into the app, and a magical countdown to your cruise will start for you! I love watching it get smaller, and the app helps me keep track of all my planning tasks under "Next Steps" as I continue to plan my vacation, which I know you're also going to find helpful!

Friend, I’m wishing you plenty of magical memories ahead. Please sail back to planDisney if you have questions during the rest of your cruise planning, as my planFriends and I are always here to help!
