Jambo and welcome to planDisney, Sara!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is my favorite park at Walt Disney World Resort. The animals always make my visit new and unpredictable. Every trip, I get excited to ride
Kilimanjaro Safaris just to see what exciting happenings are on the Savannah. Be sure to stop by
Tamu Tamu Refreshments for my favorite Disney treat, the Simba Sunrise. It is always refreshing on a warm Spring day at Animal Kingdom.
I love your plan of ending your night at
Sanaa. The Indian- style Bread Service is fantastic and the perfect appetizer for sharing. Pair it with the Mango Lassi Smoothie, and in my opinion, you have the perfect evening. Technically you can ask to park at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge the morning of your reservation and then ride a
Walt Disney World Bus back. However, there is a high potential that you will have to pay the resort parking fee for the day at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I suggest parking at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and then driving over to Animal Kingdom Lodge before your reservation (it is free to park closer to your reservation). You will save yourself more time because you will avoid waiting for the bus service. On my last trip to Walt Disney World, I stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and I ended up waiting 30-45 minutes to return to the resort because everyone was all heading to a similar location.
The choice is up to you but depending on when your reservation for Sanaa is, you may want to factor in the time it will take to get back to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
I hope this answer was helpful and you enjoy your upcoming Walt Disney World Trip.
Please let us know if you have any other questions, Sara.
