Welcome to planDisney, Sonya. Thanks for taking the time to drop by with your questions for us.
I’m more than happy to help you with navigating the new changes the Disneyland Resort is implementing. With the theme parks closed for more than a year, so many people are eager to
return to a land of Magic and soak in all things Disney! I’m sure you’ve heard that Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are opening on April 30, 2021. You’ll be able to make park reservations really soon.
Sonya, if you already purchased tickets before the theme parks closed in March 2020 and were not able to use them, you can head to
Disneyland.com on April 12, 2021 to begin making park reservation for your upcoming trip. Be sure to link your previously purchased tickets to your Disney account prior to accessing the park reservation system. If you don’t have tickets yet,
Hakuna Matata! You’ll be able to
purchase tickets and make your park reservations starting April 15, 2021.
Once you have your tickets linked to your Disney account, Sonya, you’ll: create your party of lucky folks who get to enjoy the parks with you, choose the date and theme park you wish to visit, then review your selections and confirm. Ta-Da! Once confirmed, you’re all set. You’ll be strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. with a Mickey pretzel in hand in no time!
Oh and Sonya, make sure you have the latest version of
Disneyland mobile app before you arrive to the Happiest Place on Earth. Many dining locations have mobile ordering and contactless payment. Also, if you’re interested,
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will have a virtual queue that is only accessible via the Disneyland mobile app.
I hope you’ll find this information useful. If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us on
planDisney again. We're all EARS!
Have a magical day,
Kiki
