When can I start making dinning reservations? This will be my son's first trip, and I want to make sure we’re able to do as many of things we can. Thank you!!

Hi Mariah, and welcome to planDisney!

There is nothing better than a FIRST Walt Disney World Resort visit, especially for your son! The memories you will create from this experience will stick with you and him for a lifetime!

As a Disney Resort guest, you can make your advance dining reservations up to 60 days prior to your arrival date. Reservations at the 60-day mark start at 6:00 AM (EST), so I recommend being logged in and ready about 5:50 AM, just to be safe. I would begin with reserving the restaurants on the top of your list and then work your way down. If availability is not available for one of the dining locations you desire, just keep checking, and a reservation could become available at any time before your arrival.

Because it is your son's first visit, I recommend adding the Disney Genie+ service to your vacation package when you arrive if you have not already added it when you purchased your package. I think that you will find it helpful to experience as much as you possibly can while you are there.

Please let us know if you have additional questions.

Have the most magical FIRST visit!
