Hiya, Joe!
I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney. When it comes to planning a Walt Disney World vacation, one of my favorite parts of the entire process is making
advance dining reservations –– for me, that's when everything starts feeling real. I'm happy to share a few details about making Walt Disney World dining reservations to help you score the perfect table for your upcoming trip.
While anyone can begin making advance dining reservations up to 60 days in advance,
Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guests can begin making reservations 60 days before check-in for their entire length of stay (up to 10 days), regardless of when they plan to enter a Walt Disney World theme park for the first time. That means you'll be able to book reservations for that 7-day period, even if you won't be enjoying a park till the end of your visit. If you're arriving on May 31st, your booking window is already open and you're welcome to make reservations at any time.
I know how frustrating it can be when the dining reservation you're looking for is unavailable, but don't worry –– reservation availability changes all the time. Just keep checking for reservations as your arrival date approaches and there's a great chance that the table you're hoping for will pop up. If you haven't already booked a table, I recommend keeping your eyes sharp during the 72-24 hours before you'd like to dine. Because
many reservations need to be canceled 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee, people often wait as long as they can to release their reservations. That means you might have great luck finding a last-minute table, even at popular new spots like
Steakhouse 71 and
Space 220 Restaurant.
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney, Joe. No matter where you choose to dine, I hope your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit is filled with delicious dishes from beginning to end!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
