I want to start at Hollywood studios then park hop to Epcot and ride guardians of the galaxy. Is this possible, if so how do I do this?

    Hey Howdy Hey, Scott!

A day that includes both Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT sounds practically perfect to me because they are where you'll find my favorite snacks, attractions, and meals in The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Whenever I start my day at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I head straight to Andy's backyard to spend some quality time with everyone's favorite good boy aboard Slinky Dog Dash. From there, I love to grab a lunchbox tart from Woody's Lunch Box and enjoy it as I make my way to Kat Saka's Kettle in Batuu for a Cold Brew Black Caf. Once I've hit my Hollywood Studios highlights, the Disney Skyliner makes it possible to head straight to EPCOT after a brief gondola transfer at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Happily, this fun and complimentary method of transportation conveniently drops Guests off just outside of EPCOT's International Gateway entrance allowing us to start snacking our way around the world without delay! Of course, it's important to keep in mind that if you're hoping to visit more than one Walt Disney World Resort theme park in a single day you'll need to be sure that your theme park ticket has the Park Hopper option

As you mentioned, EPCOT is home to one of Walt Disney World's most popular attractions, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Because of its popularity, this attraction does not currently feature a standby queue. Since you're hoping to experience this (in my opinion) unparalleled experience for thrill-seekers, you'll need to either join a Virtual Queue or purchase a Lighting Lane Single Pass. This Virtual Queue will be available at both 7 AM and 1 PM in the My Disney Experience app and can be joined just once each day. If you are able to successfully join a Virtual Queue, you will be assigned a Boarding Group with an estimated callback time to help you plan your day. As long as your theme park ticket is date-based and does not require a theme park reservation, you should not have a problem joining the 7 AM Virtual Queue and starting your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you are unsuccessful at 7 AM, you can try again at 1 PM but you must be in EPCOT at that time to do so.

If you'd rather bypass the queue of Guests whose Boarding Groups have been called and get straight to the excitement, Scott, you should consider purchasing a Lightning Lane Single Pass in the My Disney Experience app. This will allow you to select the time you will enter your exclusive queue for the attraction so that you can spend as much time as you would like in Disney's Hollywood Studios before heading over to EPCOT.

I hope this information was helpful, Scott! If you have any additional questions or are in need of further suggestions as you plan your day, feel free to stop back by. I'm always happy to help!

    Thinking Happy Thoughts,
