If I start at EPCOT and end the day at Hollywood Studios, is it possible to join the EPCOT virtual queue for Cosmic Rewind, purchase a Rise of the Resistance Lightning Lane and use Genie Plus to book another Hollywood Studios ride all at 7am that day?

    Hi Melissa, welcome to planDisney!

The magic of Walt Disney World Resort's 50th Anniversary Celebration is calling through March 31. Be sure to catch Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park and/or Harmonious at EPCOT before these epic nighttime spectaculars retire on April 2.

Your question has me feeling a bit like the Genie because I can enthusiastically say, "Yes!" to all three wishes for your epic park day! There are some important nuances to note, so let's dig into those Disney details. Valid admission, a theme park reservation for each park day, and a method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) are currently required for theme park entry. In order to make your desired magic happen, you must have a ticket with the Park Hopper Option and a theme park reservation for EPCOT. Now let's review the timeline for your day.

*6:45 a.m. - purchase Disney Genie+ service via the Tip Board of the My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the app's home page --> Tip Board). You can purchase Genie+ anytime after midnight the morning of each park day, but I recommend purchasing no later than 6:45 a.m.

*6:55 a.m. - confirm your Virtual Queue party for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in the My Disney Experience app (three small lines --> Virtual Queues).

*7:00 a.m. - attempt to join the Virtual Queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The virtual queue can fill up within seconds. If you are unable to secure a boarding group at 7:00 a.m., you can try again at 1:00 p.m. as long as you are inside EPCOT.

*As soon as you are done joining the Virtual Queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, purchase an Individual Lighting Lane for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (three small lines --> Tip Board --> Change Park --> Disney's Hollywood Studios --> Scroll to attraction). Park hopping hours begin at 2:00 p.m. so you will only be able to select a return time for 2:00 p.m. or later. Arrival windows are one hour but I recommend purchasing for 2:30 p.m. at the earliest so you have plenty of time to walk to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge from the front of the park.

*Once you've purchased your Individual Lighting Lane for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, you should book your first Genie+ Lightning Lane attraction. Keep in mind that you are given the next available arrival window for Genie+ Lightning Lanes and that you can't enter Disney's Hollywood Studios until 2:00 p.m. with an EPCOT theme park reservation. In my experience, Slinky Dog Dash is typically the first attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios to run out of arrival windows. Keep an eye on your Tip Board and snag an arrival window that works with your park hopping and Individual Lightning Lane schedule.

Assuming the arrival time for your first Genie+ Lightning Lane attraction is after 2:00 p.m., it's important to know you'll be able to book your next Genie+ Lighting Lane attraction two hours after park opening. If you're unsure, that time will also be listed on your Tip Board banner. That's technically more than three wishes, but who's counting?

It's been fun harnessing phenomenal cosmic powers with you today, Melissa. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any follow-up questions.

    Choose magic,
    Jennifer
