If I start at California Adventure and stay till I reserve a spot for World of Color, can I then go to Disneyland for a few hours. Once world of color starts can I transfer back to California Adventure?

    Hi, Eduardo!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for bringing us your question!

If you purchase a theme park ticket that includes Park Hopper privileges then yes! You can absolutely visit both parks in one day. Just make your theme park reservation for the first park you want to visit that day, then you'll be able to "hop" over to the second park once park hopping is allowed—currently, that's 11:00 AM. So starting your day at Disney California Adventure Park, visiting Disneyland Park, and coming back for some nighttime entertainment is perfect!

I do want to share a little more information about the viewing options for World of Color - ONE. The process you mentioned is the Virtual Queue, which you should join right at noon to secure a spot in the World of Color viewing area. To join the queue, you must have entered Disney California Adventure Park if you're using a one-park ticket. But if you purchase a ticket that allows park hopping then you're welcome to join the queue from Disneyland Park, too!

Once you've entered the Virtual Queue you'll be assigned a viewing area for the show in Paradise Bay. Follow the instructions in the app to find your entry point, and feel free to ask nearby Cast Members if you have any questions! For the Virtual Queue viewing areas, I recommend arriving between 45 minutes and an hour before the show.

There are a couple of other ways to make sure you have a place to watch the show! You may reserve a dining package, which includes a ticket to a viewing area. My personal favorite option is the World of Color Dessert party! Yummy snacks, a great view, and a chair to sit and enjoy the show? Yes, please!

Eduardo, I hope these tips help you decide how to plan your park day. Don't forget to take some time to visit Mickey's Toontown over in Disneyland Park! Mickey and his pals have so many fun and new experiences for guests, I know they would love to see you!

    Keep moving forward!
