When do they start to build the gingerbread house at the grand Floridian ?

    Hi Deborah,

I bet you are just as excited as I am about the return of the Giant gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa! 16 feet of holiday cookie delight is something that all resort guests should look forward to, right? The Giant Gingerbread House is usually ready for guest viewing around the first week of November. With around 160 hours of decorating, we can guess that Walt Disney World pastry chefs start their cookie construction right after Halloween.

I hope this answers your question, Deborah, and that you'll enjoy visiting the Giant Gingerbread House this coming holiday season. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask us at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
