When can I start booking a vacation for march 2018?

Hello Maryann!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My wife jokes that I am always 3 Walt Disney World Resort planned vacations ahead of schedule.  I start by booking my Room-Only Reservations well in advance.

Room-Only Reservations for a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel may be made up to 499 days in advance of your checkout date by contacting a Cast Member by calling (407)939-7639.

When you book through the Walt Disney World Resort site or if you are looking to book a vacation package that includes Theme Parks Tickets or one of the offerings on the Disney Dining Plan, then you will need to wait until those dates are released and available for Guests to book.  When I booked my January 2017 Walt Disney World Resort vacation online, I had to wait until mid-summer 2016 until the option to book reservations online became available.

Once room-only reservations are booked, they are linked into My Disney Experience Account under My Reservations. I recommend that you frequently check for Special Offers to become available from Walt Disney World Resort and Modify Reservations if a Special Offer on Rooms or Packages fits into your scheduled vacation plans.

If you are unable to take advantage of a Special Offer through My Disney Experience, I recommend that you contact a Cast Member at (407)939-7639, as they will use all of the tools at their disposal to get you the deal or may be able to suggest alternatives.

    Happy Planning!
