can i start booking for May 2026 Polynesian Hotel packages

Aloha, Susan, and welcome to planDisney!

How exciting that you're already planning a vacation that is both magical AND tropical in 2026! If you ask me, those are the very best kind of vibes to embrace during an escape from the real world, and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is the perfect place to do just that. Between the incredible location, immersive theming (don't skip the Lava Pool), and deliciously unique dining options, you may never want to leave your Resort! Of course, the first step of any Walt Disney World Resort vacation is securing your reservation, so let's see when you'll be able to do just that.

Currently, Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservations and vacation packages are available for booking through October 2025. Historically, reservations for the next calendar year have opened in the early summer months of the preceding year. For example, 2023 vacation packages became available for booking in early June of 2022, and 2024 packages opened in late May of 2023. Interestingly, 2025 packages diverted from this trend and opened for bookings in late February of 2024. All of this to say, there is no exact date we can anxiously await, because while there are trends we can study and follow, sometimes The Most Magical Place on Earth loves to drop a bit of surprise pixie dust in our laps.

I can assure you though, Susan, that when 2026 packages are made available for booking, Disney Parks Blog will be where the news drops first, so I suggest keeping an eye on it once we've entered the new year. Of course, there's no need to wait until next year to check it out. It's also a great place to stay immersed in the magic between vacations. My current personal favorites on the Blog include Foodie Guides, all things Tiana's Bayou Adventure, and of course, the great tips from planDisney panelists that are occasionally featured.

While I wasn't able to give you a definitive answer, Susan, I hope the information I provided was helpful for you as you plan. It's never too early to dream of your next visit to a Disney destination, and planDisney is here to answer the questions that arise as you do. Feel free to stop back by any time!

    Mahalo!
