When can we start booking for March 2023?

Hi Masae! We are so happy you found your way to planDisney! Helping friends and family plan vacations to the Disneyland Resort is one of my favorite things to do, and I'm so happy to have the opportunity to help you too!

As of the moment, Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Packages are available through the end of 2022. Vacation packages include both hotel accommodations and theme park tickets and are a GREAT way to experience all that Disneyland has to offer. We are all eagerly awaiting those 2023 dates to open up. I would imagine we should see some news about 2023 over the next few summer months. It's always a good idea to keep your eyes peeled on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest information. I also like to follow along with the @DISNEYLAND and @PLANDISNEYPANEL Instagram accounts ... and there have been a few nuggets and teasers dropped on the @DISNEYPARKS TikTok feed lately! That's where we first heard about character greetings returning and that HUGS ARE BACK!

If you are just looking for theme park tickets, those will become available 120 days ahead of your hopeful park visit, which is roughly mid-November for your March trip. Sometimes when I am trying to make plans farther out than possible, I like to set a little alert for myself in my calendar so I don't miss those dates! You also might want to set up an alert for dining reservations which will open up to you 60 ahead of time. Whether you have some must-do favorites or are still not sure how your days are going to shake out, I always recommend getting a few reservations on the books at this 60-day mark. You can always cancel them 24-48 hours ahead of time (just be sure to note the cancellation policy). The insider Disney rule-of-thumb is it's better to book early and cancel than wait and try to find a reservation closer to your trip!

The Entertainment Schedule will start to load into the calendar on the website and the Disneyland app about six weeks out from your arrival, and you will definitely want to take a peek! This is usually the point where I really start to lock in some plans for the day. I would be sure to EARmark any shows or nighttime spectaculars that you don't want to miss, and your schedule for the day will start to shape up!

Masae, so much magic awaits! As you continue to plan your trip, please come back to see us if any more questions pop up! We are always here for you at planDisney!

    Happy planning!
