Hiya Tekeya!
Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you stopped by and appreciate your trust in us to help with your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort. My friends and I love assisting Guests to ensure every detail is practically perfect in every way.
I'm glad you're getting a head start on your planning. The early bird gets the worm, and it's no different when it comes to The Most Magical Place on Earth! I always encourage Guests to begin researching everything Walt Disney World has to offer well in advance.
A great place to start is
the official Walt Disney World Resort website. I like to check the
seasonal event calendar to see what's happening throughout the year. Here you'll also find announcements about upcoming attractions and their opening dates. By researching, you can prioritize what's most important for this trip and what you might save for your next visit.
This is also where you can explore
Disney Resort hotels. There's nothing quite like staying inside the 'Disney bubble.' Guests staying onsite enjoy
fantastic benefits that elevate your adventure. Some of my favorites include
Early Theme Park Entry, which gives on-site Guests 30 minutes of early access to the parks before the general public. It's the perfect time to visit popular attractions with shorter wait times or to capture great photos. I also love the
complimentary transportation, after all, it's not a vacation if I'm doing the driving! While you're on the website, check for
special offers available for Disney Resort hotel stays.
The calendar for booking the next year typically opens in late spring to early summer of the prior year. If this trend continues, dates for 2028 should open around that time in 2027. I recommend keeping an eye on the website and booking as soon as your dates are available. If a special offer becomes available that matches your dates later, you can
call Disney or speak with a Cast Member to apply it to your reservation.
Bonus tips: I always like to plan my trips around the festivals at
EPCOT. Right now, the
International Flower & Garden Festival is in full swing. Each festival brings something special, but they all share an amazing selection of food and drinks that shouldn't be missed! As foodies, dining is a huge priority for my family and me, so we always explore the many options throughout Walt Disney World.
Some of my personal favorites are
Splitsville Dining Room and
Via Napoli, which are great for families thanks to their diverse menus. For character meals, I highly recommend breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace. The food is outstanding, and the restaurant itself is gorgeous.
Tekeya, I hope this information has helped, and, more importantly, I hope you have an amazing vacation! If you have any more questions, please come back and see me. You've got a friend in me.
Your personal planning companion,
Michelle
