When can I start booking dining reservations for my trip? What time that day can I begin doing booking them?

Hello Heather, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent planning question.

One of my favorite things about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is dining experiences. There are so many choices between all four theme parks, Disney Springs and Disney Resort Hotels. Any guest visiting the Walt Disney World Resort can make advanced dining reservations 180 days in advance of their arrival. If you plan to stay at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can make all of your reservations for the entire length of your trip. Let the countdown begin!

You can make your advanced dining reservations online in My Disney Experience by clicking on the Reserve Dining tab or in the mobile app. Reservation availability typically begins around 5:45 AM Eastern Time. The Disney Reservation Center opens daily at 7:00 AM and you can reach a Cast Member by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Be sure to include everyone in your travel party including any padawans under the ages 2 and under. There is no charge for their meal, however, including them in your reservation will make the seating of your party go smoothly for Cast Members when you arrive.

Don’t worry if you do not get all of the reservations you hope for. You may need to dine earlier or later to secure a reservation for some of the popular eateries. Keep in mind that when a guest cancels a dining reservation, it immediately becomes available again. My advice is to keep checking back for possible openings. Good luck with your planning and if you need any more help in making dining reservations or advice, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
