When can I start to book my dining reservations!

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, John!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! We are already buzzing with joy just thinking about all the MAGIC coming your way. From thrilling rides to unforgettable character moments, every day is going to feel like a dream come true. So grab your Mickey ears, start the countdown, and get ready for the adventure of a lifetime!

Ooooh, dining reservations are THE tastiest parts of Disney trip planning! I love that you're thinking ahead because scoring those delicious meals, character breakfasts, and dreamy date-night dinners can add so much enchantment to your vacation. Now, let’s talk dates since timing is everything when it comes to booking your favorite dining spots.

If you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you get an AH-mazing little perk! You can start booking your dining reservations 60 days before your check-in date, and—here’s the extra pixie dust—you can book for your entire stay (up to 10 days). That means if you're checking in on September 28, your booking window opens on the morning of July 30. And trust me, if you're eyeing hard-to-get favorites like Cinderella’s Royal Table, Space 220, or character breakfast dining at Topolino’s Terrace, being able to book ahead for your whole trip is a total game-changer.

Now, if you're not staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, don’t worry because there is still MAGIC in store! You can book 60 days before each individual park day, so for a September 28 dining day, you’d still book starting July 30, but just one day at a time. That means you'll log in each morning at that 60-day mark to make your picks for that specific date. It’s still totally doable, but you will just want to be ready each day and maybe keep a cup of coffee nearby for that early-morning booking session (reservations open at 6:00 AM Eastern Time, by the way!).

So whether you're staying on property or not, circle July 30 on your calendar and get that My Disney Experience account ready to roll. Plan out your top dining picks in advance, and maybe even have a few backup ideas—just in case.

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
