Hiya Samantha,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your Starlight Magic Parade question! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to see Main Street sparkle once again with the glow of a nighttime parade. The nostalgia hits hard—I still remember standing on the curb as a kid watching SpectroMagic light up the night. And now, I can’t wait to experience that same magic through my own kids’ eyes as they wave to their favorite characters like
Asha, Moana, and La Familia Madrigal under a canopy of twinkling lights!
So, let’s dive into the magic! The brand-new
Starlight Magic Parade is expected to debut on July 20th and will run nightly, except on evenings when
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is being held. During your upcoming trip, those party dates fall on August 19th and 22nd, so the parade won’t run on those particular nights.
As of now, the Starlight Magic Parade is scheduled to light up the streets twice each night—at 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM. But you’ll definitely want to double-check the
My Disney Experience app or the
Entertainment Schedule closer to your visit, just in case those showtimes shift a little.
Now here’s a little pro tip from my family to you: make a stop at Kernel Kitchen inside the
Main Street Confectionery before you grab your parade spot. You can customize your own popcorn creation—choosing flavors and mix-ins—and the bucket is big enough for the whole family to enjoy. It’s become our must-have parade snack, and it adds just the right amount of extra pixie dust to the evening.
Samantha, I hope this helps as you plan for your magical night under the stars. If you have any other questions as your trip gets closer, feel free to stop back and see us at planDisney.
See ya real soon!
Christina
