Now that Starbucks is allowing you to use your bonus stars for things other than drinks and food (i.e. merchandise). Will the Starbucks in Disney Springs allow you to use the stars on merchandise that is under the $20 allotment? Been saving stars hoping!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kimberly!

I’m pretty sure that the potion my Fairy Godmother would whip up to make my dreams come true would consist of both Starbucks and Disney – put ‘em together and what have you got? Magic!

You’ve been wishing upon a star, and I feel a bit like the Genie because I get to tell you: your wish is going to be granted! I called the Disney Springs Starbucks location, and the barista I spoke with confirmed that you will be able to redeem your stars for merchandise there. They are owned and operated by Starbucks, so the Starbucks Rewards program is available. I visited the Disney Springs Starbucks on my birthday last year, and I know there was a little extra pixie dust in that cup, because it just doesn’t get any better than drinking a magical Starbucks at Walt Disney World on your birthday!

Kimberly, just a quick word about the merchandise selection at the Disney Springs Starbucks: I have never seen the Disney Parks mugs there. I have purchased Orlando and Florida mugs, but, in my experience, the theme park mugs aren’t available there. It’s a gorgeous store, with a fabulous environmentally-friendly design – check out the tropical grass roof that is fertilized with coffee grounds – and some fun, subtle Disney details inside, and they do have a nice selection of Starbucks merchandise.

Your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is coming up so soon, and I’m excited for you. Since you’ll be visiting Disney Springs, make sure you check out the Flavors of Florida festival; I’ve heard the Blood Orange Mousse dome at Amorette’s Patisserie is phenomenal, and I’m dying to try the Dole Whip Frozcato at Wine Bar George.

Enjoy every minute of your summer vacation!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
