Star Wars weekends looked like so much fun this year, I want to take my family next year. Are these weekends the same time each year? When will the Star Wars weekend dates be announced for next year?

    Hi April!

My family and I experienced our very first Star Wars Weekends this year, and we had an imperial blast! My girls loved meeting Princess Leia, Jedi Mickey, Boba Fett, R2D2 and more! I just have one word of advice. If you come across Chewbacca, let the wookiee win.

Star Wars Weekends are generally held in May and June each year. Dates are subject to change and are traditionally announced in late December/early January.

One of the things I love most about Star Wars Weekends are the fans! Nothing beats a Star Wars fan. Then combine that with a Disney fan, and the air at Disney's Hollywood Studios is out of this galaxy. I admit I got caught up in the excitement and dressed up each of my 5 girls as a mini Princess Leia. They loved it as many people were also dressed in costume or cosplay. If you're looking for fun; these are the weekends you're looking for.

I hope to see you next year at Star Wars Weekends. I have a feeling I will; the Force is strong with you.
