    When are the Star Wars weekend 2016 dates released? How do I get information on the types of special activities that happen on those weekends? Thanks.

    Hi Miranda,

    Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Star Wars Weekends is a fantastic event that takes place during the summer each year at Disney's Hollywood Studios. 

    An official event announcement for 2016 has not yet been made. However, in past years, dates were announced several months in advance on the Disney Parks Blog. I recommend checking the blog in the days and weeks after Thanksgiving for the most up-to-date information.

    The blog is also where you will be able to find information about upcoming events and opportunities during your stay in addition to the official Star Wars Weekends webpage.
