For star wars nite how strict are adult dress codes? I'll be wearing a sith tunic with a mask prop ( not a mask that covers the whole face but typically like a normal face mask that covers the nose and mouth area only). Is the half mask prop allowed?

Greetings, Pisith, and thank you for visiting planDisney from a galaxy far, far away!

Disneyland After Dark events, such as Sweethearts' Nite, Disney Channel Nite, and Star Wars Nite - are a fantastic time to visit the Disneyland Resort. From interactions with rare characters to special food offerings and merchandise, they are out-of-this-world fun!

Pisith, I'll bet you are getting so excited for Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, which is sure to be heaven for Star Wars fans like you and me! This special event will take place on April 16, 18, 23, 25, 30; May 2, 7, and 9, 2024, and each night is separately ticketed from regular theme park admission and begins after the park closes to the general public. Did you know that it includes admission to Disneyland Park three hours before the party begins? Adding after-hours events to a regular park day is my tip for maximizing the fun!

While the Disneyland Resort usually only allows younglings under 14 years of age to dress in their galactic finest, the policy for after-hours events is different. Please review the "Dressing for Special Events" guidelines to make sure that your costume adheres to the Disneyland policy for after-hours events.

Please note that the Special Event dress code policy states that for Guests ages 14 and older: "Masks of any kind may not be worn, except for medical purposes." This sounds like before you jump to lightspeed on your Star Wars Nite attire, you might want to leave the mask prop at home, as it will likely not be allowed.

These policies are subject to Cast Member discretion and are updated from time to time so I suggest checking back on the dress code policies of the Disneyland Resort as the event gets nearer. Policies can be updated, and I want to make sure that you can enjoy this event without needing to alter your Sith attire at the last moment.

Pisith, you clearly understand the power of the dark side, and I wish you well in your journey.
