Greetings, Rosa! Thanks for stopping by
planDisney. The force is strong with this question. Let’s search our feelings for an answer.
The good news is that you don’t need to do anything before your visit regarding which name is on the ticket. As long as the ticket is not used, the cast member at the gate will scan the ticket and take a photo of the person scanning. The ticket is then assigned to that guest for the event, and you'll receive a wristband that gives you access to the evening's festivities. If you’d like to link a ticket to someone else’s account, you can do that the same way you’d link any other ticket. Go to the
Disneyland Mobile App, click the (☰) in the bottom right corner of your screen, and then “My Tickets & Passes.” Press the (+) in the upper right corner, and the button to “Link Tickets & Passes” is right there. You can scan the barcode with your camera or enter the ticket number manually.
Disney can sense a disturbance in the force if anyone attempts to resell or transfer tickets for commercial purposes. That pathway leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering. I can’t stress enough that this is strictly enforced. If anyone tries to buy your tickets from you, just wave your hand and say, “These aren’t the tickets you’re looking for.” I would even make sure people in your party don’t try to resell tickets, as penalties may come back to you.
Star Wars Nite promises to be out of this world. I’m so excited for you! There are so many fun experiences like themed photos, character interactions, and event merch on sale. Also, make sure to get all
dressed up so no one calls you a scruffy-looking nerf-herder! If it’s offered when you attend, this would be a special night to experience
Fire of the Rising Moons in
Galaxy’s Edge with all of the Star Wars enthusiasts at your side.
Rosa, I’m sure it will be a night to remember. Feel free to bring more of your questions to us at planDisney. Have a magical day!
Yours in the Force,
Corey
