For Star Wars night, I’m going to have my lightsaber. Will they store that while I ride rockin rollercoaster?

    Greetings and salutations Matthew!

The force is strong in bringing you to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. You are in store for some out of this world fun during Star Wars: Galactic Nights. You will be able to experience special character interactions and photo ops with backdrops from some of your favorite scenes from the saga. Don’t forget to experience some of the delicacies from a galaxy far, far away. These special treats are only available during the celebration.

During the festivities, a select number of rides and attractions will be available for you to experience, which is always subject to change. Unfortunately, Cast Members are unable to store personal guest items while you ride. If your lightsaber is unable to collapse small enough to be carried on a ride, it might be best to leave it with a non-rider. Depending on the size and construction of your elegant weapon… for a more civilized age, your lightsaber may not be permitted into the park, along with any other restricted items, like blasters or thermal detinators. It will be up to the discretion of the Cast Members at the security checkpoint if they will allow you to bring it to the park for the celebration. I can assure you that the wretched hive of scum and villainy remains in Mos Eisley. Don’t forget to end your night in glorious celebration with Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular with new scenes added from Solo: A Star Wars Story! This will be an evening long remembered.

May the force be with you,
    Andrea
