Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ashley! It’s always a pleasure to help a fellow Star Wars fan find the perfect out-of-this-world experiences for their visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Now that Guests can live their Star Wars adventure by visiting the planet of Batuu in
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, there are even more ways to feel the Force throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has been open for a few months, and with
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opening on December 5, 2019, I think the Jedi Council is finally getting their droids in a row, putting all the transmissions and plans together, and figuring out how all the incredible
Star Wars experiences around the Walt Disney World Resort fit and flow together.
The Star Wars Guided Tour has been put on hold, and I haven’t heard word about its return, so my best advice is to watch the
Disney Parks Blog for news, and I’m sending you Force-dusted wishes (that’s the Star Wars version of pixie dust) that we get some good news soon. I also recommend keeping an eye on the
Special Events & Tours webpage to see if it appears.
My family loved the
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party! The desserts, drinks, and snacks are delicious, and we really enjoyed watching the fireworks from the VIP viewing area. Ashley, dessert parties often open up for reservations a few months ahead, so it’s possible that you’ll start to see some January 2020 dates soon. Keep an eye on the event’s web page and reservations will hopefully become available soon. Don’t be worried that you don’t see November and December showtimes, because Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! is the current nighttime spectacular and dessert party experience for the holiday season.
I’ve got my fingers crossed that the experiences you’re wishing for become available, Ashley! As you count down the days to you visit, please come back and see us if we can help with any more questions.
May The Force Be With You,
Robyn
