Hi, Is the Star Wars Galaxy Edge included in the Park Hopper package? We are planning a trip in December and what is the best option/plan to see all the parks and the Star Wars experience?

    Bright Suns, Sheri-Lynn!

I am a human-cyborg of planDisney relations. I am eternally grateful that you have stopped by with your question. R2-D2 and I are equally pleased to hear that you will be making a journey to our galaxy far, far away later this year. We anxiously await your arrival in the hopes that you will join the Resistance.

When you are making your plans to visit us here at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, you will need a ticket to enter from a location on your home planet known as Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I have overheard visitors to the Black Spire Outpost say that they were able to enter the outpost by having a regular or a Park Hopper ticket. R2-D2 and I don’t know much about transport since his unfortunate mishap with a shuttle full of tourists recently, which is called Star Tours on this planet.

Once you enter, you can use a map or a datapad to guide you to Batuu where you can live your Star Wars story here at Galaxy’s Edge. You can go on a secret mission to defeat the First Order and help the Resistance by helping out with Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run. Assemble your crew and smuggle cargo in the Falcon to help allies of the Resistance. You can take a break with a glass of blue milk, but if you need something stronger, you can visit Oga’s Cantina and sample some of the local libations in this sector. After you have recovered, you can go on the ultimate mission by joining Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance to defeat the First Order once and for all. Before you depart for your homeworld, stop by and check out authentic merchandise at the outpost shops or even create your custom lightsaber or droid, (reservations required) to remember your journey. Once you have completed your exploration of the stars, you can explore the stars of Hollywood, by enjoying other rides and attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I like to spend my mornings in Batuu and enjoy the attractions in my homeworld in the afternoon and evening. One ticket will give you access to everything in this park. You can purchase additions to your theme park ticket that will allow you to use the Lightning Lane or Individual Lightning Lane entrances, instead of waiting in the standby line. You can purchase Disney Genie+ for your visit for $15 per person, per day (amount subject to change).
We also get visitors to Batuu who visit the outpost while on a journey through space on the Halcyon also referred to as the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. Guests who book this experience are on a 2-night interactive voyage that brings them to Batuu as a part of their cruising experience. This is a separate experience and passage on the ship must be booked in advance by calling (407) 939-1800.

I would recommend allowing at least 1 full day for each theme park, especially if you are a first-time visitor, or if it has been several years since your last visit. If your budget allows, I would even add in a non-park day in the middle of your trip. This will allow you to relax and spend a day exploring your Disney Parks Collection Hotel and even do some shopping and dining at Disney Springs. The Park Hopper Option added to your tickets will allow you to visit a second theme park after 2:00 PM. Remember all Guests must have a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park they plan to visit for the day.

May the force be with you in your planning!
