    When will Star Wars Galaxy Edge be fully opened? We are in the beginning stages of planning our next WDW trip and want to make sure Galaxy's Edge is as ready for us as we are for it. We'll be traveling with 3 generations of Star Wars fans.

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so happy to hear that you are planning your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We are all big Star Wars fans in my family so we are definitely excited about the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios! It is going to be an incredible new land where Guests will be able to travel to Batuu to visit Black Spire Outpost. I can't wait to enjoy the land's dining and shopping and where else will you get a chance to fly the Millennium Falcon!

    The latest information we have is that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will open at Walt Disney World Resort in late fall 2019. Unfortunately, we don't have more specific opening dates than that. So I recommend that you plan on visiting in very late 2019 or early 2020. Since Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is on your "must-do" list for your next trip, you may want to consider keeping your vacation dates a little bit flexible for now so you can be sure that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is open during your trip.

    Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog as you continue planning your vacation as that will be the best place to get official information about Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, including the opening date announcement. And let us know if you have additional questions as you continue planning.
