Hello, as a Star Wars fan with a bad back I would love to do the walk through part of Smugglers Run but not actually get on the ride. For similar Disney rides (Guardians of the Galaxy) I have just gone out the "chicken exit" Is this possible?

    Bright suns, Erin!

As you explore the spaceport at Black Spire Outpost, you will be amazed at all the sights and sounds you will experience. The tools, knick-knacks, equipment and machinery along the queue of Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run are sure to thrill any Star Wars fan. Even if you won’t be joining a crew aboard the “the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy,” you may still be able to offer your services to Hondo Ohnaka within the “Flight Crews Wanted” activity of the Play Disney Parks  mobile app. Throughout the queue, help inventory cargo containers, answer quizzes and assist in preparing that famous “bucket of bolts” for maintenance. Then, you’ll get the chance to meet Hondo himself as he briefs recruits for a special mission for his “legitimate business.” After watching Hondo’s presentation, recruits line up to receive crew assignments. At that point, you may inform a Cast Member of your situation and ask for directions to the attraction exit.

You’ll find much to experience on the planet Batuu. From delicious, exotic food, to fascinating creatures, to out-of-this-world entertainment, there is something for everyone at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. My children had a blast designing and building a custom lightsaber and astromech droids. The fun goes on and on with the Star Wars: Datapad. You can play along with other guests visiting the Black Spire Outpost as you choose sides in the interactive “Outpost Control” game.

When you return from a galaxy far, far away, the magic continues. This year, Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort begins September 6th. I’m excited to watch the “World of Color” show “Villainous!” when we attend the new Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. And the limited-time return of the Main Street Electrical Parade lights up the night through September 30th.

I hope you have a magical time, Erin!
