What are some Star Wars must do’s at Hollywood studios

    Bright Suns, Michael!

Welcome to planDisney! We are THRILLED you stopped by and can't wait to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! It sounds like you are ready to visit a galaxy far, far away! Whether you’ve been a Star Wars fan since the twin suns first rose over Tatooine or you’re just now discovering the power of the Force, Hollywood Studios is where your inner Jedi (or scoundrel) truly comes alive. So grab your lightsaber, charge up your droid, and prepare for lightspeed, because the Force is calling your name!

When you step into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, you are entering the planet Batuu, a bustling outpost on the edge of the galaxy. Every sound, smell, and sight pulls you deeper into the Star Wars universe. The very first thing you’ll want to do is head to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the crown jewel of the land. This isn’t just an attraction—it’s a full-on cinematic mission where you join the Resistance, get captured by the First Order, and (hopefully) make a daring escape. The special effects, life-size AT-ATs, and jaw-dropping realism will make you feel like you’re living a Star Wars movie from the inside out! (This is my absolute FAVORITE attraction!)

Next up, pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Whether you’re a pilot, gunner, or engineer, everyone gets a job on this thrilling mission through hyperspace. The ride’s interactive nature means no two flights are the same, and your performance actually affects how your mission unfolds.

Now, for something truly iconic, you can build your own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop. This deeply immersive experience will have you choosing your kyber crystal, crafting your hilt, and igniting your own custom blade in a ceremony that gives everyone chills (even non–Star Wars fans tear up!). If you prefer droids to sabers, stop by Droid Depot to build your own astromech companion—you’ll get to choose parts, assemble it yourself, and bring it to life with personality chips that make it beep and chirp just for you.

When hunger hits, grab a bite at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo or sip on some blue or green milk from the Milk Stand! (The blue milk is the BEST!) And don’t skip Oga’s Cantina, where you can enjoy quirky drinks and intergalactic tunes from DJ R-3X, the droid with serious rhythm.

We hope you have the most out-of-this-world experience! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to let us know. We are here to help in any way!

May The Force Be With You!
