I have the Star Wars dessert party booked for May 25th and I’m wondering if we are brought out in time to see the Disney movie magic show that starts at 8:55 and is in the same spot as the Star Wars fireworks show. Even when I called, the CM wasn’t sure!

    Greetings and salutations Laura,

The Force is strong with you in bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Get ready for an out-of-this-world feast for the eyes and tummy. The Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the dessert party you have been looking for. After you have enjoyed a feast that Jabba the Hut would approve of, you will be escorted to your viewing area 15 minutes before the Star Wars show, around 9:15 P.M. In the past I have seen Disney Movie Magic begin just after party guests have been ushered to their spots by StormTroopers. On the date of your party, Disney Movie Magic is scheduled for 9:10 P.M. However, at this time, C-3PO cannot even calculate the odds of being able to see both shows that night. Showtimes are subject to change without notice.

I would suggest asking the Cast Member when you check-in at 8:00 P.M. at the Star Wars Launch Bay for the dessert party to see if there has been a change in the schedule or when party guests will be able to enter the VIP viewing area. Remember, the Force will be with you, always.
