I see that Star Wars Day (May 4, 2014) will be celebrated at DHS. We have a Fantasmic dinner reservation the same night. I was wondering if the Star Wars fireworks display will be different than the Fantasmic fireworks. If so, what is the timing of both?

    Hi Jason!

The Force is strong with you. In 2013, as part of Disney Park's "Limited Time Magic" campaign, Disney's Hollywood Studios hosted a May the 4th celebration. The Limited Time Magic campaign has ended and there is no planned Star Wars Day celebration for Walt Disney World in 2014.

While May the 4th will not be celebrated at DHS this year, you're invited to join the rebellion during 2014 Star Wars Weekends. For the first time ever, Star Wars Weekends have been expanded to include a fifth weekend as well as a special fireworks spectacular, ordered by Darth Sidious himself.

While Fantastmic! features fireworks, it's not your typical fireworks show. It's an incredible stage show featuring amazing special effects, your favorite Disney characters, a captivating story, and a truly magical musical score. You can only experience Fantasmic! from inside the stadium.

The daily schedule for Star Wars Weekends has not been released, but it's a safe bet to assume the new Star Wars Weekends fireworks show and Fantasmic! will run at different times.

I hope this helps, Jason. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

May the Force be with you,
    Ashley
