Is Star Wars closed to those who don't have special event tickets on Star Wars Nite?

Hey there, Shona! Thanks so much for your question, and welcome to planDisney!

It looks like Disneyland Park will close at 8:00 PM for Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, but Disney California Adventure Park is open until 10:00 PM on those nights!

While tickets are sold out for this event, there is still plenty to do even after Disneyland Park closes! Hop over to Disney California Adventure Park (make sure to purchase Park Hopper tickets!) to get late night rides on the Incredicoaster, Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!, or Grizzly River Run. I love experiencing these attractions at night! Then after that, catch World of Color - ONE.

Additionally, you can still have a Star Wars-packed trip! My recommendations to fully immerse yourself are to start your day with a Cold Brew Black Caf from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. Make sure you've purchased your MagicBand+ so you can become a Star Wars: Batuu Bouny Hunter while you sip on your Black Caf.

Next, you can make a pit stop at Ronto Roasters for a Ronto Wrap and peruse the shops like Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities for some galactic goods to bring home from your trip. Who knows? You might even run into a bounty hunter or two while shopping. Speaking of bounty hunters, I think at this point you'll be ready to participate in your first (hopefully?!) smuggling mission on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Just be careful not to wreck Hando's ship! Since you're already committing some minor smuggling offenses, why not go all in at this point and join the resistance? I've heard there's a recruiting station hidden in the forest outside Black Spire Outpost that leads to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

After a thrilling adventure with Rey and Finn, you'll probably want to take a breather over at Oga's Cantina (and enjoy the sweet tune's from DJ R-3X). Finally, it's time for one last adventure - you'll want to visit my friends, the Gatherers, at Savi's Workshop to build your own elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

So, yes, Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite is great, but you can still have an amazing adventure in a galaxy far, far away even if you didn't get tickets! I hope you have a fantastic trip, Shona, and thank you again for your question.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
