    Will the Star Wars Characters be out and about for us to meet in the month of February or are they only out in the summer?

    Hi Ashley,

    Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!  My own two sons are die-hard Star Wars fans as well.  Their favorite time of the year to visit is during Star Wars Weekends which is being held next year from May 15 - June 14, 2015.  Star Wars Weekends is held at Disney's Hollywood Studios and it is only during these events that Guests have the opportunity to meet multiple Star Wars characters as well as experience special Star Wars shows, entertainment, and dining venues.

    However even if you cannot visit during Star Wars Weekends, you can still experience some intergalactic fun year round at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Even though there are no Star Wars characters meet and greets outside of Star Wars Weekends, you can see Darth Vader up close at the Jedi Training Academy.  Younglings between the ages of 4 and 12 are given special training by a Jedi Master and then have an opportunity to battle Darth Vader on stage.  Even if you do not have a youngling who wants to sign up for the Jedi Training Academy in your travel party, you should definitely make a point to watch one of the stage shows.

    Another Star Wars themed attraction that is a must-do for every Star Wars fan is Star Tours - The Adventure Continues.  My kids love to ride this multiple times in a row because there are over 50 different adventure possibilities.
