    Are any Star Wars characters in the parks OTHER than during the Star Wars Weekends? Starting to plan a 2014 trip for my then-5-yr-old and need to know if I have to plan around that event or not ;-) Thanks!!

    Hi Kelly!

         If your son loves all things Star Wars, then you definitely need to plan to attend a Star Wars Weekend at Hollywood Studios in the future.  Typically Star Wars Weekends are held the last two weekends of May and the first two weekends of June each year.  During Star Wars Weekends at Hollywood Studios there are so many Star Wars characters to meet and tons of special events, Star Wars merchandise, parades, and special things that are not in Hollywood Studios throughout the year.  During the year there are limited Star Wars character meet and greets by Star Tours: the Adventure Continues attraction and also the Jedi Training Academy runs through the year next to Star Tours (your son can be a Jedi Padawan and fight Darth Vader).
