Will Star Wars attractions and concessions be available during Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites? Or will they close at 8:00pm with the rest of the park?

Hi there, Emma! Welcome to planDisney. I’m so glad you’re headed to the Happiest Place on Earth for a night of nostalgia! I’m attending next week also, and I’m ready to relive my childhood.

Since Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favourites is a new event, it is hard to know exactly what will be available when the event begins. Other Disney After Dark events have closed some rides, though many say that a substantial number of attractions remain open and the lines are significantly shorter. So I think in the end, we’ll be anxiously waiting together to see what rides, attractions, and concessions will be available.

If you’re not familiar with Disney After Dark events, you’ll receive a wristband when you enter the park. If you don’t have a park reservation before the event, you can enter the park starting at 6:00 p.m. From this time until 8:00 p.m., you will “mix in” with all of the guests, and the park will remain operating normally. If you have your heart set on riding Rise of the Resistance and grabbing a Ronto Wrap, this is the time to do it. While the rides and concessions might be available throughout the event, you can be sure that they will be available from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Starting at 8:00, guests must have a wristband to enjoy attractions and visit certain parts of the park. Then the fun begins at 9:00 p.m.! I’m especially excited about some of the exclusive food offerings at Jolly Holiday, Red Rose Tavern, and Golden Horseshoe. The Poutine Fries look especially tasty. I also can’t wait to bust a move at the Videopolis Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace, hosted by 80’s radio icon Richard Blade!

Emma, the Disneyland After Dark events are always magical. In addition to the amazing exclusive offerings, being in the park with smaller crowds alongside other Disney fans is a magical feeling. I love seeing the park in a new light and experiencing something magical and new (or in this case, old).

I hope you have a wonderful time and create many magical memories. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to stop back by planDisney. I hope you have a magical day!
