How is the all star movie resort. Are the little mermaid rooms at the art of animation far from bus transportation locations to get to magic kingdom ? We are traveling with a person in a wheelchair.

    Hi Susan,

I have stayed in the All-Star Movies Resort and my children loved all the oversized giant movie characters around the resort like those from 101 Dalmatians and Jungle Book.  They also enjoyed the fun theming of the rooms with movie posters and "popcorn" light fixtures.  Another fun activity at this resort is complimentary nighttime movie screenings near the Fantasia Pool.  Be sure to check with the front desk upon check-in for more information about this unique event.

The new Art of Animation will have some different amenities like the amazing "Big Blue Pool" from Finding Nemo with music playing underwater and the buildings have interior hallways.  I had the opportunity to tour this hotel during a recent trip and was awestruck at the details that went into this resort.

The Little Mermaid buildings at Art of Animation are not the closest ones to Animation Hall where you would catch the buses to Magic Kingdom as well as other parks.  The Lion King buildings are nearest to the buses.  If this is a game changer and a decision maker for choosing a resort, may I suggest requesting the Toy Story buildings at All-Star Movies.  Please keep in mind that all requests are not guaranteed and are based on availability.

I hope this information helps bring your magical experience to life.  Happy planning!
